AX MAKING w/ JOHN SCROGGIN! - Thursday - Saturday, January 23rd to 25th, 2025 - DAPHNE
Learn how to make and leave with your ax! And depending on time, you may actually be able to leave with another part or even a fully completed one! We are looking to make a wrapped eye tomahawk and long-handle ax over these three days.
This class will be taught by guest instructor, John Scroggin from Warne, North Carolina. John is a well-known blacksmith teacher and demonstrator from Spruill Art Center in Atlanta and the John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina. This will be an amazing opportunity to learn from an extremely talented blacksmith!
Thursday, January 23rd will be from 1pm to 6pm, Friday, January 24th, 8am to 4pm, and Saturday, January 25th, 8am to around 1pm.
Class size is limited. Due to the different overhead, no Gift Certificates can be used for this class.
Also, please note, that a signed liability waiver will be required to take this class. Waivers will be distributed and signed on the first night of class. A copy for preliminary review is located under the FAQ section of this webpage. Please also find our cancellation policy on the FAQ page as well.
