This class meets all day from 8am to 5pm. We will stop for lunch. There are several great local restaurants nearby.
This all-day intro to stock removal knife making is a LOWER physically challenging class than the 12 Hour Intro to Knife Making Class. This class is perfect for beginners with no experience or for someone who has been dabbling in making knives.
Students leave this class with a great foundation and confidence to go home and begin making their own knives. You will learn basic stock removal skills, basic knife design, gain an understanding and perform the heat treatment process, learn to grind, sharpen and apply a wood scale handle.
Also, please note, a signed liability waiver will be required to take this class. Waivers will be distributed and signed on the first night of class. A copy for preliminary review is located under the FAQ section of this webpage.
