Friday & Saturday, May 9th (4pm - 7pm) & 10th (8am to 3pm), 2025 – (9) Hour Forged Knife - Daphne
This class will be held our our new Daphne Location at 25421 Hwy 181, Daphne, AL 36526.
This (9) Hour Beginner Class is perfect for Beginners with no experience or for someone who has been dabbling in making Knives. Students leave this class with a great foundation and confidence to go home and begin making their own Knives. You will learn basic forging skills, and basic knife design, gain an understanding of and perform a basic heat treatment process, and learn to grind, sharpen, and apply a wood scale handle.
We will use induction forges for this class, specifically the Coal Ironworks Induction machines. These machines are not recommended for those with a pacemaker or any kind of metal plates in your hand. But they are absolutely incredible to use and I am confident you will absolutely enjoy using them!
Also, please note, that a signed liability waiver will be required to take this class. Waivers will be distributed and signed at the beginning of class. A copy for preliminary review is located under the FAQ section of this webpage.
We do need a minimum of (2) people of this class.
