FATHER'S DAY CLASS - Saturday, June 14th, 2025 (9am to 1pm) - FATHER & SON or DAUGHTER KNIFE MAKING EXPERIENCE
For Fathers Day this year, we are offering a special Father and Son or Daughter Knife Making Class! The cost of the class is simply the total number of people making a knife. For instance, if there is a Father and Son team that wants to only make one knife, please sign up for just one person. If both the Father and Son Team wanted to both make a knife, then please sign up for two people.
This class will be held at our Daphne Location at 25421 Hwy 181, Unit 106, Daphne, Alabama, 36526.
We will be using a high-quality piece of high-carbon steel! You will start with a knife blank, design your own tip, heat treat, apply the wood scales, and leave with your very own blade. You will leave with a fantastic introduction and exposure to one of the most popular stock removal knife-making processes performed by most professional knife makers. This class does utilize help from the instructor. The class will finish off with the instructor grinding the blade for you!
Sometimes, depending on the total number of class participants, it can take up to an hour for us to finish the blades for you. In these instances, it is a great time to head out to one of many local restaurants, grab lunch, and return to grab your blade!
Also, please note, that a signed liability waiver will be required to take this class. Waivers will be distributed and signed at the beginning of class. A copy for preliminary review is located under the FAQ section of this webpage.
