Beginner Knife Forging Class
This 6-hour class is perfect for absolute beginners with no prior experience as well as those who have been dabbling in knife making and want to build stronger foundational skills.

What You’ll Learn:
The focus of this class is forging and grinding. Students will work with A36 mild steel, an excellent material for learning forging fundamentals. After forging, we’ll spend time at the grinder learning proper techniques to shape and finish your blade.
Important Safety Note:
Sometimes Induction Forges are used. If you have a medical condition where you should not be around induction type machinery, please let us know.
Additional Information:
- A signed liability waiver is required to participate. Waivers will be distributed and signed on the first day of class.

- We’ll break for about one hour for lunch. Feel free to bring your own or head out to enjoy a local restaurant.
