Friday & Saturday, November 21st (2pm - 6pm) & 22nd (8am to 3pm), 2025 – (9+) Hour Forged Knife - Daphne
This class will be held at our new Daphne location: 25421 Hwy 181, Daphne, AL 36526.
This 9-hour beginner class is ideal for those with no prior experience or anyone who has dabbled in knife-making. Students will leave with a solid foundation and the confidence to start creating their own knives. You will learn basic forging techniques, knife design, perform a basic heat treatment process, and gain skills in grinding, sharpening, and attaching a wooden scale handle.
We will be using Coal Ironworks induction forges for this class. Please note that these machines are not recommended for individuals with pacemakers or metal plates in their hands. However, they are amazing to use, and I’m confident you’ll enjoy working with them!
A signed liability waiver is required for this class. Waivers will be provided and signed at the start of the session, and a copy is available for review under the FAQ section of this webpage.
A minimum of three participants is needed for this class. Otherwise, the class will be rescheduled for another date.
