Saturday, February 21st, 2026 (2pm to 6pm) - FATHER/SON(S) KNIFE MAKING EXPERIENCE
This class will be held at our Daphne location:
25421 Hwy 181, Unit 106, Daphne, Alabama 36526
This 3½–4 hour hands-on class is intended specifically for fathers and sons. Each participant will make their own knife.
Please note: Pricing is per person. For example, if a father and son are making one knife total, only one class needs to be purchased. If both the father and son plan to make their own knives, two class spots must be purchased.
You will actively participate in creating an everyday carry knife using a high-quality piece of high-carbon steel. Starting with a knife blank, heat treat the blade, apply wood scales, and leave with a knife you helped create. This class offers a fantastic introduction to one of the most popular stock-removal knife-making processes used by professional knife makers.
The class is instructor-assisted, and the instructor will complete the final grinding of the blade for you to ensure a high-quality finished product.
Note: Depending on the total number of participants, it may take up to an hour to finish the blades. During this time, you’re welcome to explore nearby restaurants for lunch or a snack then return to pick up your finished blade.
This class is a fantastic foundational class that can segway into other classes that we offer.
Please note: A signed liability waiver is required to participate in this class. Waivers will be distributed and signed at the beginning of class. A copy is available for preliminary review in the FAQ section of this webpage.
