Friday (1pm to 6pm) & Saturday (8am to 4pm), April 8th & 9th - INTRO TO KNIFEMAKING – Daphne Location
This class meets for (2) consecutive days, Friday & Saturday. Friday's class will be from 1pm to 6pm and Saturday's class will be from 8am until around 4pm. This (12) Hour Beginner Class is perfect for Beginners with no experience or for someone who has been dabbling in making Knives. Students leave this class with a great foundation and confidence to go home and begin making their own knives. You will learn basic forging skills, basic knife design, gain an understanding and perform the heat treatment process, learn to grind, sharpen and apply a wood scale handle.
Also, please note, a signed liability waiver will be required to take this class. Waivers will be distributed and signed on the first night of class. A copy for preliminary review is located under the FAQ section of this webpage.
