This great (3 1/2) hour class will give you an opportunity to actively participate in making your own everyday carry knife! We will be using a high-quality piece of high-carbon steel! You will start with a knife blank, design your own tip, heat treat, apply the wood scales and leave with your very own blade. You will leave with a fantastic introduction and exposure to one of the most popular stock removal knife-making processes performed by most professional knife makers. This class does utilize help from the instructor. The class will finish off with the instructor grinding the blade for you!
Sometimes, depending on the total number of class participants, it can take up to an hour for us to finish the blades for you. In these instances, it is a great time to head out to one of many local restaurants, grab lunch, and return to grab your blade! Or for no additional cost, we can mail your blades to any location in the lower 48 states.
Also, please note, that a signed liability waiver will be required to take this class. Waivers will be distributed and signed at the beginning of class. A copy for preliminary review is located under the FAQ section of this webpage.
